|About the Book|
I expected a lot more from this book, having read that Arthur Schnitzler and his work were superfantabulous, in particular, his book that was later adapted for the screen as Eyes Wide Shut, which, to be fair, I havent seen so I didnt really know if I liked it, either, prior to reading this.I give it a meh. The protagonist was engaging and realistic, and the story had great movement toward obvious disaster that kept you thinking, oh my god, dont do it while coincidentally sharing in her delicious momentum.Sounds good, right? Well, yes, except that the minute I finished the book I forgot I ever read it. It was...flimsy that way.
